Indigenous flowers of Spain
Spain is officially known as the Kingdom of Spain. This country is mostly
popular for its dance, flamenco music, bullfights, fantastic beaches, flora and
fauna, and sunshine. It is a developed country having the eighth largest economy
in world. Retailing, fishing fleet, tourism, telecommunication, and banking all
contribute to the economic activity. The country has extraordinary artistic
heritage.

vegetation here. About 8,000 species of flowers are cataloged.
National flower
Pomegranate is the official flower of Spain, national flower of Spain is the
beautiful Red Carnation. This red carnation is not only beautiful but also long
lasting. It sends a message too. If you receive Red Carnation then it means “my
heart aches for you” and when you receive white carnations, the sender wants to
say “I am still available”. However, if you happen to visit Andalucia in Spain,
you will find pots containing colorful bunches of Carnation flowers.

Spain. It is beautiful and is bell shaped. The most alluring fact of this flower
is that they easily multiply and grow easily. They can easily grow even in shade
and almost in any type of soil.
Lantana flower
Lantana is a perennial type of a shrub. The flowers of Lantana are aromatic and
cluster of various colors ranging from orange, yellow, pink, red, gold and rose
or the bold colors of yellow, pink, orange, white, or red. They are attractive
and hence, pollination is easily possible. Once, the flowers are all spent,
black berries would appear and they are poisonous.
Gazania flower
Gazania rigens is the scientific name fro Gazania flower. Walk in at home or a

up your day ahead. These flowers are radiant and look very much like the daisy
flowers. When the flowers bloom completely in stunning hues, they look

Valencia Red Rose
The scientific name of Valencia Red Rose is Rosaceae. The people of Spain grow
this flower in their gardens as it looks very much like the red rose. Their care
is easy and grows well in warm temperature of Spain. However, they can get
caught between some diseases. There is a history of meaning and symbolism behind
this red rose however, it is a sign of romance or love and they are found in

Lilies
The scientific name for Lilies is Lilium. They are these red and white striped
flowers. They grow freely along houses, buildings, and churches as they enjoy
sunlight. They are recorded as the oldest flowers and are completely hardy so
